Happy almost Thanksgiving!

Work is busy, life feels good, and I’m trying to keep my head above water and enjoy it. Somehow, in spite of lots of Bad Things happening, especially to some of my best friends, I feel positive about the rest of this year.

Tomorrow should be family-fun day. All of my siblings are going to be together under one roof for the first time in… well… forever it seems like. I hope that everyone has a great vacation and has a chance to kick back and enjoy the ride.

The stumbling block portion of the LDAP implementation is now behind me. The next stuff, however, will be equally frustrating, I’m sure. ;-)

Today might have been the last “nice” day until next spring. Time for me to hibernate, I guess.

If someone had told me three years ago that I’d be working on implementing an LDAP authentication scheme as part of my job, I’d have laughed rather loudly. As it is, I find myself laughing in pain rather than in humor.

Why is it, again, that I choose to live at such a northern latitude? I’m ready for a vacation to Brazil, thanks.
