I must say that I’ve learned a lot over the past few days. Yesterday was my son’s first baseball game. Our team had the higher score at the end, but both teams played very well. My kiddo hit a double in his first at-bat, and overthrows turned that into a homerun!

The best news I can think of, lately, is that my family seems to be healthy. We had a birthday celebration at my place over the weekend and we sang and played cards and just generally had a grand time.

And I know it’s old and tired, but I really DO need a vacation. *mental notes*

At the middle of my todo list is setting up the https side of my apache installation. At this point the connections are in cleartext and I hate that.

My kiddo is in baseball, and he’s thriving. I’ve pulled out another of his baby teeth. He’s learning Spanish and generally kicking all sorts of tail.

I had something resembling a breakdown yesterday, abandoning an online community I’d been a part of for… well… a long time. Misunderstandings and adrenaline and frustrations were at the core of the mess. At this point I’m not sure what to do, but I think I’m square with the person I thought had completely hurt me.

Did I mention something about wanting to take a vacation? Yeah, well… I’ve got a month’s worth saved up. Seriously e-mail me suggestions…
