It’s almost that time again. I’ve nearly made another lap around the sun.

Things are going well, I finished the MS150 with only a little knee pain, and I’m nearly back to normal… whatever that means. We’re still talking about moving in together and now realizing that we’ll need someone to sublease an apartment, or pay two rents through next summer. *shrugs* Ah well. :-) Could be worse… could be in Barrow… *winks to Am*

I’ve had a Vinx song stuck in my head for the past couple of days. Some of the lyrics:

Not countin' my old dog Fat Boy,
You were my first kiss, at least on the lips,
You were my first lover, my first love,
Or were you just the first to love me back...

I really enjoy his music, but do I really need it stuck in my head all day? *laughs* I’m riding in the MS150 on Saturday and, apart from being a little nervous, I’m really excited. My brother is going to ride the whole thing. The word “ow” comes to mind.

It’s amazing how much I’m actively trying not to think about two years ago today… which of course… means that I’m actively thinking about two years ago today.

Right about now, I’m glad I’m so freaking busy at work that I can’t keep it all straight.

My goodness. The weather here has been incredible lately. I went for bike rides over the weekend, and I feel really good about the MS150 coming up in less than two weeks.

There are so many things going on right now. Basically all of my parents are moving (*waves to Dad and Jewell*) or have already moved, Christina and I are trying to figure out how difficult it will be to break her lease, work is in high gear, and I find myself ready for change.

I hope to get an awful lot done this week. Wish me luck! ;-)

Well… Life, all things considered, is going pretty well. PDG, as my super-sweetie would say. :-) I’m tired, but for fairly good reasons.

My kiddo’s decided not to get his orthodontic work done right now which is a mixed blessing. I guess we’ll try again in a year and see if he’s matured enough to handle it.

KU was essentially knocked out of BCS contention by Northwestern on Saturday, and no one was shocked. I kind of wonder what’s going to happen, and I kind of just don’t care anymore.

I’ve started using LiveJournal, I’m still busy as all get-out at work, and I could use a lot more time in the saddle as the MS150 is in 16 days.
