If you haven’t already, check out Serenity’s website. VERY cool. If you want an invite, just let me know!

Work work work…

Thursday, June 24th, 2004

I’m working on the eBill presentation project and now I’m down to the integration stage. My bugs are mostly dead, but in order to fix what’s left and get a polished product, I need a lot of input from someone who isn’t here as well as the functional users of the system.

Blergh.

May I go to sleep now?

How about…

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2004

How about if we all really followed the Golden Rule? Would that not be amazing? How would it be if we asked ourselves what we’d want done to us before doing it to someone else?

I think we’d be a different human race. The optimist in me wants to believe it’s even possible. The cynic says we’re not far enough along the evolutionary ladder.

HP3

We went to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban over the weekend. I felt like it was relatively well done and fairly faithful to the book. David seemed to be scared once or twice, particularly during Dementor appearances, and it might have been too loud for him overall, but he definitely enjoyed it and couldn’t stop talking about it for quite a while after we left the theater. :-)

I think Ron and Hermione are a cute couple and wonder if they’ve dated in Real Life(TM).

Yet Another Death

A friend here at work whom I’ve known for seven or eight years now lost her daughter over the weekend. Krystal… you will be missed.

Family Reunions

Tuesday, June 1st, 2004

We went to two family reunions this weekend. One was in northeast Oklahoma, and the other in southwest Missouri. I had a great time and got to meet lots of new (to me) relatives. :-)

The boys did great on the trip down and on the trip back. I found it entertaining, watching how they responded to a flood of (mostly) old people showering affection in various directions. There’s a lot to be said for going over to the swingset. *grins*
