My maternal grandfather died in the early hours of Monday this week. I have a lot of things going through my mind. This has been a very interesting experience.

It’s been a long (but good) week and I’m hoping for some rest over the weekend. I have a bunch of Arabic homework to do and right now I’m searching for motivation.

Yesterday was Christina’s birthday and we had a fun day/evening. *HOP*

The weather here is inCREDible today. Gorgeous, sunny skies… temperature in the 60’s and I’m just about ready to call it a day. We were talking about having dinner out at the lake tonight… sticks, brats, fire… I think that’s just about all we need. *heh*

Work… Work is driving me quietly insane. I might have mentioned before that we’re going to be moving my entire team into a training room during the demolition of our current work area. Four months or so of close quarters is going to be a durned sight more than I can handle, I suspect.

So I figured I’d post on the second day of our first anniversary… Now I have a better idea of what it’s like for people who were born on leap day. *heh*

Things here are going pretty smoothly. I’m just about ready to head home, grab the family, and head over to dinner at Jim’s. Have a nice evening, folks. I mean it!
