Whirlwind

Friday, September 9th, 2005

Within the last week, give or take a day, we acquired a dog named Molly. She’s about two years old and is some kind of beagle, terrier, spaniel mix. She weighs about twenty pounds and has a lot of really fun energy. The boys are crazy about her, and I think we’re making a really good home for her.

The two weeks we just passed have marked my first time as an upgrader for our PeopleSoft (Oracle) installation. We had a consultant on site and I spent most of my working time with him. We’ve finished the first pass and now I’ll be getting some things coordinated, including user testing.

For Labor Day we went to the Kanza Prairie south of Manhattan and really had a great time hiking for an hour or so. We needed to get out of town and have an adventure, and we had a great one, I think.

I’m working on incorporating an upgraded gallery to freezer. Here are pictures of Molly family/molly_first_day just for example. I think you should be able to see them. Please let me know if you can’t. This is one of my favorites:
